hip length. No more than a frame 6 and no less than a frame 5.

from front shoulder to hind quarter (how a bull stands is a good
indicator). Smooth muscling with balanced muscle to bone ratio.
Passing semen
test performed by a veterinarian.
Large scrotal
score, tight sheath with penis “holstered” most of the time.
Aggressive
Libido, wants to breed lots of cows.
Good feet and
legs with even, adequate sized claws and strong pasterns. Bulls
that travel well…….should step deep under themselves, placing back
foot where the front foot was.
Good haired and black. Brown tinges and excess white not so good.
Keep Angus
character in the looks of the head, good muzzles and ear
placement…….no Holstein headed bulls.
